After many months of dedicated work, we are delighted to announce to our students, parents and school community that North City Academy — both its national and international sections — has officially become a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS) in the United Kingdom, one of the world's most established accreditation bodies in international education.
Membership makes us one of only a few schools in Jordan to join this global network of more than 1,500 schools and universities in 120 countries.
What does CIS membership mean for us? Joining a global community that sets rigorous standards of quality and excellence; a firm commitment to international best practice in teaching, learning and wellbeing; and the start of our journey towards full CIS accreditation — our next goal.
This achievement is the result of our dedicated team's work and our belief in world-class education for our students. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. North City — where the world begins.

We extend our warmest congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, and to the Jordanian family, on the eightieth anniversary of Independence Day. Many happy returns to the nation and its leader.
On this occasion we remember with pride the founding fathers — the founder King Abdullah I bin Al Hussein, King Talal, and King Hussein bin Talal — who raised the banner of freedom and dignity high.
Today we celebrate eighty years of pride. In sharing your joy, North City affirms that raising generations who love Jordan and are loyal to the Hashemite leadership is our path and our lasting value.

As part of the Educational Counselling Department's work in serving the community and building youth awareness, we highlight the pioneering role of the academy's counsellor, Mr. Waleed Sarhan, who has taken his educational mission beyond the school into the wider community through purposeful, impactful initiatives.
These efforts have been widely recognised: Al-Ghad newspaper published a special report on the initiatives, in appreciation of their impact in education and in the community.
Thousands of people — students, teachers, parents and university students — have benefited through training workshops, awareness sessions, purposeful digital content and interactive field initiatives.
At North City Academy, we believe educational counselling is a bridge to a more aware and confident generation, ready to face life's challenges and build a bright future.
