North City Centre for Early Intervention and Inclusive Education

Vision

We strive for the Early Intervention and Inclusive Education programme to be inclusive in all its educational, counselling and rehabilitation aspects, in line with international standards for inclusive education.

Mission

Providing a healthy learning environment that promotes the inclusion of students with learning difficulties and disabilities alongside their peers, and eases their integration into society — grounded in human rights, justice and equality, and mindful of individual differences.

Overall goal

Creating a supportive educational environment for every student, whatever difficulty or disability they face, with every means of support for inclusive education at its best.

Values

Our values stem from our belief in human rights and equality, and that education is a right for all. We believe that:

  • Including people with difficulties in educational institutions is their fundamental right.
  • Inclusion promotes a culture of respect for others and acceptance of difference.
  • People with difficulties and disabilities have the right to academic education without obstacles.
  • They have the right to every means that helps them live independently.
